Hi, I’m Sadhana.

I’m passionate about technology – both the business of it, and how it shapes our lives our lives as consumers.

During my stint at the business daily Mint where I covered start-ups, I wrote news stories as well as long-form features about emerging start-ups, and analysed trends in various start-up sectors.

You can find my work across Mint, Mint Asia, and crowd-funded journalism site Contributoria here.

I’m also interested in reading fiction, the culture and music of East and Southeast Asia (find me on HelloTalk and Memrise learning Korean and Mandarin), Television, and write about these on my blog here.

If you’d like to collaborate or commission some work, don’t hesitate to e-mail me!

About Me

I currently work full-time as a Product Business Manager for a software product company. However, I am available to work as a freelance journalist and I’m based in the city of Hyderabad in south India.

Before this, I was a reporter in Bengaluru for the business daily Mint. I studied journalism at the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai, and Information Technology engineering in Hyderabad prior to that.

I spend most of my free time reading or watching copious amounts of (not-always-smart) television shows.

I read a 100 books in 2011 and have been trying to (unsuccessfully) replicate that ever since. However, in 2017, I’ve come up with a reading challenge keeping numbers aside, hoping that this way, I read diverse books outside my comfort zone, and to read at least some books in Telugu, my native language. See what I’m reading here.
